InterContinental Bali Resort is delighted to announce that its annual charity art exhibition is on again from 20th December 2012 to 5th January 2013. An extensive collection of works by artist Linda Satya will be displayed at the Saraswati Lounge as well as other areas of the resort. All proceeds from the sale of these paintings will go directly to Satya Foundation, which is a caring home environment in Gianyar for orphaned and underprivileged children.
The resort supports this regular year-end event as it is an opportunity to ‘give back’ to the people of Bali and help those truly in need. It is also in line with our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme that is all about making a difference through community and environmental projects.
Linda Satya is currently a volunteer at the foundation and she will be available at specific times during the exhibition to discuss her role at this non-profit facility. Funds raised from the sale of Linda’s art will go towards covering the daily operational costs of the Satya Foundation.
The exhibition is open daily from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm for the pleasure of in-house guests as well as members of the public.
