IHG Race Around the World is a week-long global awareness raising and fundraising event for IHG Shelter in a Storm.
This year, our IHG employees participate in as many activities as you can during the week. They don’t have to be a fitness fanatic to take part, they just have to be imaginative – host a bake sale, organize a sponsored lunchtime walk or think about a challenge that the whole team can get involved in. For each act of participation, IHG will make a donation into the IHG Shelter Fund, so the more activities you do to show your support, the more money we raise. That means every time you participate, you make a difference!
What is IHG® Shelter in a Storm?
When disasters strike, people naturally come to hotels to seek shelter in a storm. This is a key role of hotels in society, and one that is really important to all the communities in which they operate.
Our HR Officer Ms. Onick wants to have a healthy body. She pledged to ride the static bicycle everyday for 30 minutes the whole week at employee rest area and will donate IHG Shelter In A Storm from her pledge. Great spirit Ms. Onick!
Our Front Office team pledged to surf along the Jimbaran Bay. We’re all so excited to watch them surf for IHG Shelter in A Storm. See their happy face?
Our HR team organized the blood donation to support Indonesian Red Cross and IHG Shelter In A Storm. Many employees participated to this event.
