A FESTIVE SEASON OF STYLE AND CELEBRATION WITH INTERCONTINENTAL BALI RESORT

InterContinental Bali Resort is delighted to announce that this year’s festive season will be a celebration of style. The Resort has created an exciting programme filled with special activities and events for the pleasure of all in-house guests.

Designed to transcend boundaries and embrace diversity, the programme will celebrate the spirit of the festive season by taking different needs into careful consideration. There will be a selection of events to showcase local culture as well honour the family traditions of Christmas. In the spirit of ‘giving back’ to the local community, the Resort will be holding a special charity initiative in the lead up to Christmas. A tree decorated with wooden angels will be displayed in the Lobby, these angels can be purchased for a small donation, going to the children of Panti Salam orphanage for their educational and daily living cost. The children will also perform seasonally inspired songs at the Lobby in the lead up to Christmas Day.

Highlights of the programme include a Gastronomic Set Dinner at Bella Cucina, a Seafood Buffet Carnival, Asian Flavors dinner and authentic Japanese dining experiences at KO. A full schedule of supervised Christmas activities will keep little travellers entertained while parents indulge in some well-deserved luxury at Spa Uluwatu, or relax at the Resort.

The festive mood will be set on Christmas Eve with a cocktail gathering for all guests and the management team at the Lobby. This will be followed by a choice of dining options with a family styled buffet at Taman Gita Terrace or a more sophisticated dinner at Bella Cucina.

Christmas Day will begin with the arrival of Santa in a horse-drawn carriage to spread his special   message of peace and goodwill. The day will continue with a Festive Family Brunch and delightful dinner at Bella Cucina for a classical Christmas evening in distinguished surroundings.

New Year’s Eve promises to be a night to remember with an amazing array of events. From an extravagant party in the Puri Kencana Ballroom to Seafood Buffet Carnival, Asian Flavors Dinner, Gastronomic Set Dinner and Japanese Delights – every need will be satisfied. There will also be chill out tunes at Sunset Bar and a midnight countdown on the beach followed by a vibrant display of fireworks.

InterContinental Bali Resort will ensure that guests of every nationality will be pampered during the festive season. This involves paying tribute to the New Year with a traditional Japanese dining celebration at KO. An assortment of authentic food items known as Osechi will be served in unique boxes to be shared with friends and loved ones. And finally the celebrations will draw to a close with an elaborate feast for Russian Christmas on 6th January 2012.
