DOUBLE WIN FOR INTERCONTINENTAL BALI RESORT AT THE 2016 WORLD LUXURY RESTAURANT AWARDS

InterContinental Bali Resort has scooped two more prestigious international awards to add to its impressive collection of accolades. The Resort’s two fine-dining outlets: ‘KO Restaurant, Teppanyaki & Cocktail Lounge’ and‘Bella Cucina’ are both ‘Country Winners’ in the respective Japanese and Italian categories of the esteemed 2016 World Luxury Restaurant Awards. The winners were announced at a gala event hosted by The Grand Kronehof Hotel, Pontresina, Switzerland.
The World Luxury Restaurant Awards were set up to inspire excellence and ignite healthy competition within the luxury restaurant industry. The aim is to highlight the special features of upscale restaurants, thereby increasing competition and ultimately raising the level of food quality and the standards of service in the industry. Restaurants are invited to compete in their chosen category, from a list of 78 categories, and the awards will further promote the nominated restaurants based on culinary excellence and memorable experiences, ranging to outstanding atmosphere and service. World Luxury Restaurant Awards will highlight those categories for which the restaurant should be renowned, recognising and acknowledging service excellence, celebrating outstanding menu choices, and attracting food experts, journalists and gourmands as well as a host of visitors from around the globe. Voting is based on the food experience as a whole, combined with aspects of service excellence, presentation, quality and menu choices. Votes are mainly from guests, but also from industry professionals.
The World Luxury Restaurant Awards is the sister company to the already well-established and popular World Luxury Hotel Awards, a global organization that has been focusing on identifying the world’s best hotels for the past eight years.
